Cyprus Culture Exam Registration — 6 March 2027
Registration for the 21 November 2026 sitting is closed: the window ran from 5 to 12 October 2026. The next window runs from Monday 11 January to Monday 18 January 2027 inclusive, for the 6 March 2027 sitting. Registration is online only: paying the €20 invoice on JCC Smart is the registration — there is no separate application form.
⚠️ You cannot pay outside the window. Each window is only eight days, Monday to Monday. If you paid by 12 October, you are registered for 21 November — your candidate number arrives by email a few days before the exam.
How to register, step by step
- Open the Examination Service invoice on JCC Smart: jccsmart.com/businesses/35000587/pay/7320.
- Fill in the candidate details: first and last name, father's name (a patronymic works too), ID field — your ARC or passport number, email and phone.
- Pay the €20 by card. This is the only payment channel and the only way to register.
- Keep the payment confirmation.
- A few days before the exam (sometimes three weeks) you will get an email from [email protected] with your candidate number, the time and the exact venue (usually a school in the Nicosia district). That number is what you later check the results against.
⚠️ Your details must match your passport or ID exactly. The Ministry calls this out specifically: the same data is used to print your certificate and to tell you which examination centre you are in. A misspelled name is a problem at collection time.
Note: apart from the card charge, there is no confirmation right after payment. The details email comes closer to the exam date — that is normal; keep an eye on your spam folder.
When registration opens
Since September 2026 the Ministry runs the exam three times a year instead of twice, citing the increased number of applicants. The registration window opens about seven weeks before the sitting and lasts eight days, Monday to Monday inclusive.

Paid? What to do before the exam
Once registration closes there are almost six weeks left until the exam. Spend them preparing:
- work through the preparation plan — facts, vocabulary, past questions, current affairs;
- read what to bring and how to fill in the answer sheet in advance: nobody is let in once 20 minutes have passed from the start;
- work out which pass mark applies to you — PR or citizenship;
- learn the exam vocabulary and answer questions from past sittings.
