Registration for the Cyprus Culture Exam
You register for the Cyprus Culture Exam online only — by paying an invoice on the JCC Smart portal (€20). There is no separate application form: the payment is the registration. For the summer sitting on 4 July 2026, registration ran from 19 May to 2 June 2026 and is now closed. The next registration window opens in winter, for the spring 2027 sitting.
How to register: step by step
- Open the Examination Service invoice on JCC Smart: jccsmart.com/e-bill/invoices/7320/pay.
- Fill in the candidate details: first and last name, father's name, in the ID field your ARC or passport number, email and phone.
- Pay the €20 fee by card. This is the only payment channel and the only way to register.
- Save the payment confirmation.
- A few days before the exam, an email arrives with your candidate number, date, time and the exact venue (usually a school in the Nicosia district). You later use that number to check results.
Note: the email with details does not come right after payment — it arrives closer to the exam date. That is normal; just wait for it.
When registration opens
The exam is held twice a year, and the registration window opens a couple of months ahead and lasts about a month:

Registration closed — what now
If the window has already closed, you cannot register for the upcoming exam — wait for the next sitting and watch the Ministry's announcements (or our updates on this page). Use the time to prepare:
